Thanks to the diameter 100 mm hose and the adapter set, the HD12 extraction system from Scheppach is compatible with most machines and ensures a clean workplace even during chip-intensive work. No professional workshop works without an extraction system. The unobstructed view of the workpiece is just as important for precise sawing, grinding or planing as a healthy working atmosphere in the workshop. Clean workplace, clean air, clean results - if you plane, mill or saw in your workshop, you will appreciate a good extraction system. Rapid extraction of all the resulting chips is a must in woodworking in order to always have an optimal view of its work, extend the machine running time, minimise the pollution of the workshop and, above all, to reduce the health risks caused by chips and dust in the air. An extraction system such as the HD12 from Scheppach, which also serves as a chip vacuum cleaner and for dust extraction, is a kind of large vacuum cleaner specially designed for woodworking. With a volume flow of 1150 m3/h and a negative pressure of 1600 Pa, the HD12 reliably sucks even large wood chips and sawdust that occur when working with thickness planes, table cutters and table saws. A 550 W induction motor with 2850 min-1 provides the HD12 extraction system with sufficient power to keep the hobby workshop free of chips and saw dust. The 2.3 m suction hose has a diameter of 100 mm and can be easily connected to smaller intake connections with the included adapter set. The robust hose enters the sucked material into a PE chip bag with a maximum capacity of 75 litres. The filter bag is attached to it, which frees the sucked air from dust and releases it back into the room. Sucked dust remains in the filter. The longer the hose, the lower the suction power. The HD12 is therefore equipped with a driving device so that it can always be conveniently positioned where it is needed.
